About Guiding Hands Navigation

Walking alongside you, every step of the journey.

Guiding Hands Navigation was created to help families feel less overwhelmed as they navigate the many systems, services, decisions, and transitions that can come with raising a child with additional needs.

Whether you're trying to figure out where to begin, understand what a recommendation means, prepare for what's next, or connect the different pieces of your child's journey — you don't have to sort through everything alone.

Through personalized guidance, practical education, and family-centered navigation support, Guiding Hands Navigation helps you understand what's happening, identify what matters most right now, and move forward with clearer next steps.

Hi, I'm Nicole Buster, founder of Guiding Hands Navigation.

My connection to this work is both personal and professional. As a parent and someone with experience working within the school system, I understand how quickly families can find themselves navigating multiple systems at once — education, healthcare, disability services, community resources, transitions, and more.

I created Guiding Hands Navigation to provide the kind of support I believe families need along the way: someone to sit beside them, help make sense of what's happening, connect the pieces, and figure out what comes next.

You don't have to figure out every step at once.

Sometimes you just need help understanding the next one.
